A scary thought ..

In 2006 there were 3201 road accident fatalities in the U.K. 9 DEATHS A DAY! The equivalent of an aeroplane crashing every month.

So why do we have Health and Safety?

With the thought of the above statistics think about how this involves your company, big or small.

• 960, that's 30% of fatalitites, were driving on company business!
• 66% of company cars crash each year

Health and safety at work act 1974 put a great responsibility on employees.

Employers must carry out a risk assessment for all company drivers, to ensure a duty of care to their work force who drive a company vehicle. This applies to any company with 1 driver or more!

Remember your company is responsible and can be prosecuted for corporate manslaughter.
You can help avoid your employees becoming part of the road accident statistics by providing full and proper training with MK Driver Training.
